Quebec City

Next stop was Quebec City which we reached mid-afternoon after taking the slower, much more interesting scenic route from Montreal. The weather was good, so we decided to camp close to the city. Bit late to go into the city so did some shopping, washing etc and had a campfire, ready to explore the next day.

Next morning, we did a city tour by bus. Best way to see a new city and very informative. Spent the rest of the day and evening wandering around Vieux Quebec, i.e. Old Quebec, Love it! Narrow, steep, cobblestone streets, lots of interesting sights and shops, murals, you name it. Stayed in town for dinner and Caught the ferry back. Great view of Vieux Quebec from the ferry.
