Route 66

We have worked our way across to Oklahoma City where we have joined Route 66.  There is still quite a lot of the old road, but mostly it runs beside the new road, I-40. Much more interesting on the old road, diners, museums etc. We worked our way across to Williams, just past Flagstaff, as we couldn't get a camping spot in at the Grand Canyon.
We had a milk shake at a diner and they gave us a free onion burger cut into quarters just so we could taste their famous burgers.
