Las Vegas

From Zion, headed for Las Vegas where we had a spot booked at an RV park right on the 'strip' next to Circus Circus. Went in to Circus Circus for a while and saw a little bit of a circus act, had a beer and then bought a 24 hour bus ticket and headed along the Strip, looking at all the different hotels and lights. 

It wasn't as tacky as we had thought it would be, I think it was tackier years ago and they have made a concerted effort to make it better. It is of course very bright with lots of lights, but  I must say I enjoyed looking at the various casinos and hotels and all the people on the buses and on the street having a good time.

Walked through MGM (very tasteful) New York New York where the inside was a mini city of New York; Paris, with an Eiffel Tower; the Venetian with painted ceilings and gondolas, and several others like the Mirage, Caesars Palace and the Emporium.

We walked, we took buses,we had dinner in New York New York and we had a fabulous night. We didn't want to go home but we were exhausted.
